Our sweet journey, from bitter to better
Discover the heartfelt origin of Sour Swizzles, a story born from resilience and a passion for creating something truly special. Learn how our commitment to handmade quality, natural ingredients, and community support shapes every chewy, sour, and sweet bite.

Born from a prayer, perfected with passion
Sour Swizzles began during a bitter time in my life, a prayer for a way to create good from challenges. This journey led me to candy making, where I infused my own unique style. From this, Sour Swizzles was born. As a youth worker and community participant, I'm most excited about the opportunities our candies provide to engage inner-city youth, especially those of color. We focus on fostering positive dialogue for truth and productivity, helping them navigate bitter experiences to find their own sweet success.

Rooted in Brooklyn, growing with our community
Connecting with the Brooklyn community is at the heart of what we do. We proudly team up with organizations like Brown Girl Empowerment INC, Defy Ventures, and Nicholas Brooklyn, all community-based businesses. Through free candies and workshops for the youth, we aim to make a real difference. Having grown up in New York City under challenging circumstances, we feel a deep obligation to help others in similar situations, empowered by the gratitude and support we have received along our own journey.

The Sour Swizzles difference: handmade and wholesome
What sets Sour Swizzles apart? We believe in crafting candies that are not just delicious but also better for you. Our candies are handmade with real, natural fruit flavors. You won't find GMOs, gluten, dairy, or glycemic sugar in our recipes. Plus, each batch is fortified with vitamin C. We're proud to offer a chewy, tasty sour candy that stands out from the rest, proving that healthier can be incredibly flavorful.
"Sour Swizzles are more than just candy; they're a taste of hope and community. Their commitment to quality and giving back is truly inspiring."
